Scandic Hallandia welcomes you to its casual lobby area, featuring a lobby bar, TV and billiard table. Our relax department, with Jacuzzi, sauna and steambath, is on the very top floor of the hotel and has probably the most beautiful view in Halmstad. Our Svea Bar & Restaurant offers you delicious food with marvellous views over the River Nissan. The restaurant is situated in a part of the hotel dating back to the 1850s. Whether you're visiting Halmstad on business or just travelling through, the hotel is well situated and offers different types of rooms for different occasions, both for business travellers and families and holidaymakers. Our meeting department offers several well-equipped conference rooms as well as a banqueting hall.

Scandic Hallandia is situated in the centre of Halmstad, close to the square with its shopping, restaurants, bars and public amusements. Halmstad is considered to be one of Sweden's best golfing towns, with eight golf courses within a 13-km radius of the hotel. There are good blue-flag beaches only 3-7 km from the hotel at Östra Stranden and Tylösands Havsbad. If you're travelling by car, there are parking places around the hotel as well as garage parking only 50 m from the hotel. Scandic Hallandia also offers a car park with 14 places. Our twin bedrooms are designed and equipped for you to enjoy your stay, whether you are here for work, leisure or just a good nights sleep. The rooms have two separate beds with a bedside table between. You can choose between rooms with wall-to-wall carpet or a parquet floor. There is a writing-table where you can work, good lighting and a facility to connect your computer to the internet.

Pleasant, twin bedrooms, some with a balcony, with a view over the river Nissan. The rooms are designed and equipped to help you enjoy your stay, whether you are here for work, leisure or just a good nights sleep. The floors are in Nordic wood, as is the furniture. The interior textiles are in bright-colored wool or cotton. The rooms have a shower or bath, a hairdryer, a writing-table, and good lighting and computer sockets.

Svea Bar & Matsalar dates back to the 1850s. It is in the centre of Halmstad, along the shore of Nissan. Svea is today part of the modern Scandic Hallandia, and you can still feel the wings of history in our fine premises. A spacious restaurant and a banqueting room give us the opportunity to welcome both large and small groups. Many successful events, such as weddings, birthday parties, school-leaving parties, anniversaries, company dinners and other occasions have delighted guests for decades at Svea Bar & Matsalar. Here, hotel guests, conference guests, local company owners and families meet to enjoy good food from our broad menu. We serve home cooking, buffets, à la carte, Sigge's children's menu and our generous KRAV-certified breakfast. At the end of November we lay the table with Christmas food according to all the rules of tradition. Festvåningen is situated in a part of the hotel that dates back to the 1750s and is a very handsome and magnificent conference hall. The beautiful cut-glass chandelier, decorations in the ceiling, grand mirrors, high windows and wooden floor make it an elegant room. Festvåningen holds 130 guests in a cinema layout and 70 in a classroom layout. On the premises there's a music installation and a loudspeaker system. The hall is also excellent for exhibitions, banqueting and seated dinners. - Onsite

A rather smaller room for close-quarter discussions. The room holds a maximum of eight people and is located on the top floor. It is air conditioned. - Onsite
